Following a controversial incident at Chandigarh airport, actress-turned-politician Kangana Ranaut was reportedly assaulted by CISF constable Kulwinder Kaur during a security check, allegedly due to Kangana’s past remarks on the farmers’ protest. In response, actress Raveena Tandon addressed the broader issue of violence against women and children on social media. Without naming anyone, Raveena emphasized on platform X the need to remember that women achievers are human and should not be disparaged for their fame. She urged a united stand against violence and hooliganism. Kangana later shared a video statement assuring her well-wishers of her safety. She described the incident, noting that the CISF constable abused and hit her, justifying her actions by referencing the farmers’ protest. Kangana expressed concern about the growing terrorism in Punjab and the need to address it urgently.
