
Ali Fazal reminisces about his debut in Hindi films with the iconic 2009 movie ‘3 Idiots’. He recalls wearing his own shirt for a pivotal scene, which faced wear and tear. In appreciation, director Rajkumar Hirani gifted him a jacket. Hirani discovered Fazal during a play at Prithvi Theatre. Fazal played Joy Lobo in the film, a character passionate about machines and faced rejection from Dr. Viru Sahastrabuddhe, played by Boman Irani.
