There is no denying that cakes are an essential part of any celebration. Whether it’s a birthday, anniversary, or any other special occasion, these sweet treats add an extra layer of joy to the event. With a wide range of flavours available — from chocolate to mixed fruit, and from red velvet to sponge — everyone has their favourite when it comes to this delightful dessert. However, in today’s era of culinary experimentation, even the traditional cake has not been exempted from unique twists. A video circulating on X (formerly Twitter) has captured the internet’s attention and features a man making a cake by mixing raw eggs into Thums Up, a popular cola brand.
In the video, a man starts the process by taking a 200 ml Thums Up bottle and breaking two eggs into it. After tightly closing the bottle, he gives it a thorough mix. Next, he pours the contents of the bottle into a mixer jar. Then a chocolate bar is broken into small pieces and added to the mixer jar. Next, a cup of all-purpose flour is added to the mix. The man then creates a paste by turning on the mixer.

After preparing the batter, the man takes a cake mould and pours the mixture into it. He then tops the batter with some additional chocolate pieces and covers it with aluminium foil. Next, he prepares a pressure cooker by filling it with half a litre of water, placing a stand inside, and positioning the mould covered with aluminium foil on top of the stand. The man closes the cooker with its lid, without the whistle attached.
After cooking the cake for 15 minutes, it is taken out from the pressure cooker and served.
