During the 1975 Emergency, some film magazines banned mentions of Amitabh Bachchan, accusing him of being involved in censorship. Post-Emergency, these magazines avoided mentioning his name in articles and filmographies. Bachchan was aware and even positioned himself in group photos to facilitate editors in excluding him.
