Chandipura virus: Why kids are most vulnerable?

Gujarat experiences a surge in acute encephalitis from the Chandipura virus, discovered in 1965, with 75 deaths and 84 cases since June 2024. This virus primarily affects children, transmitted by Phlebotomus sandflies.
