Kalki 2898 AD director once called Deepika ‘effortless’

Deepika Padukone’s departure from ‘Kalki 2898 AD’ sequel surprised fans, despite director Nag Ashwin’s past praise for her effortless acting in the first film. Production house Vyjayanthi Movies cited a lack of partnership commitment as the reason for the split. Padukone has already moved on, commencing work on Shah Rukh Khan’s ‘King’, marking their sixth collaboration.
