The Harvest Moon on September 17 will be a supermoon and feature a partial lunar eclipse, with only 8.4% of its surface shadowed. In India, only the penumbral phase will be visible on September 18 in the early morning hours. Observers can safely view it with the naked eye or through binoculars or telescopes.
