It is because both ginger and garlic are packed with antioxidants, and anti-inflammatory and antiseptic properties that help flush out toxins and protect your body from various hazards. Moreover, ginger contains gingerol which helps heal a sore throat and body inflammation and prevents any kind of oxidative stress. Punjabi Ginger-Garlic Recipe: How To Make Punjabi Chitt:

“This is a traditional Punjabi recipe, also known as ‘Chitt’, mainly prepared during the winter season to keep you warm and boost immunity! It also helps clear a blocked nose and release the sinuses,” explains Chef Guntas Sethi.

To start with, pound garlic, ginger, and green chillies and saute the mix with some ghee in a pan. Next, add red chilli powder, turmeric powder, and salt and give everything a mix. To it, add water and milk and mix well. Bring the sabzi to a boil and serve hot. Yes, the recipe is that simple, yet extremely flavorful.
