RGV files an appeal after being sentenced to jail for 3months

A non-bailable warrant was issued against filmmaker Ram Gopal Varma in a cheque bounce case, resulting in a three-month jail sentence. The Andheri Metropolitan Magistrate’s Court found his firm guilty last month. Varma’s lawyer has now requested bail and suspension of the sentence.
