Filmmaker Sandeep Singh discusses his upcoming film Safed, a heartwarming tale of a widow and a transgender finding solace and love in each other. The movie is set to release on OTT on December 29. Sandeep chose this subject to shed light on the discrimination faced by the transgender community and advocate for their rights. Despite facing struggles and lack of support from big producers, Sandeep managed to make the film with a budget of 50 lakhs rupees. The film features Meera Chopra and Abhay Verma in lead roles.
