When it comes to street food, vada pav is one of the most popular desi picks. It is made by placing a vada in a bun and served with spicy chutneys and fried green chilli. The popular Maharashtrian snack is loved by people all across the nation. But in today’s era of bizarre food combinations, even the humble vada pav has not been spared. We have all seen experiments like chakli vada pav, croissant vada pav, and vada pav pizza. Now, there is a new entry to the list – chocolate cheese vada pav. Yes, you read it right. A video doing the rounds on the internet shows the making of this dish.

In the video posted on @foodpandits, a vendor begins the process by coating biscuits in a gram flour batter and frying them in a wok. Simultaneously, she opens a soft pao bun and drizzles it with chocolate syrup. Following this, the lady adds a layer of grated cheese. She sprinkles crushed biscuits for added crunch. Next, the vendor assembles the creation by placing the crispy biscuit vada within the bun. The assembled vada pao is then toasted and halved for presentation. The vendor adds a final touch of grated cheese, a drizzle of chocolate syrup, a sprinkle of white and brown chocolate chips, and a decorative round wafer stick.
