The process of making this Japanese dish starts with a ball-shaped dough. A large wok containing hot oil is visible. The dough ball is then put onto a large strainer inside the wok. Using another ladle, the ball is rotated continuously, causing it to expand in size. Once the desired size is achieved, the ball is placed in a basket.

In the caption, the restaurant described the dish. They wrote (english translation), “This is a masterpiece that is made by carefully monitoring the oil temperature and cooking pace, and the crunchy texture and fragrant sesame aroma are irresistible! It’s quite large and filling, so we recommend sharing it with multiple people!”
