Karishma Tanna has proven time and again that she is a true foodie. Whether it is biryani or sweets, her food choices never fail to leave us craving more. So, what did the actress treat herself to this weekend? Her latest Instagram post gave us a glimpse – she enjoyed delicious idlis at home. The twist? They were made in coconut shells. Karishma even shared a step-by-step guide on how to prepare this South Indian delicacy. The video begins with Karishma Tanna oiling the base of a coconut shell. She then pours idli batter into the shell, filling it halfway. Next, she places the shells in an idli steamer and lets them cook for a few minutes. Once ready, Karishma garnishes the dish with a drizzle of oil and a sprinkle of gunpowder before enjoying it with a spoon. The caption read, “Try it… it’s yummy. Happy Sunday.”

The actress loves to share her foodie adventures on social media. Earlier, Karishma Tanna prepared gajar ka halwa at home with the help of her husband, Varun Bangera. The actress shared an Instagram video, which begins with the couple peeling and grating carrots. They are then seen cooking the halwa on a gas stove. Karishma gives the traditional recipe a healthy twist by using oat milk and jaggery powder. In the caption, Karishma Tanna wrote, “Gajar ka halwa season. (Tried with oats milk and jaggery powder) Sunday = Funday.”
Before that, Karishma Tanna was seen indulging in a traditional Maharashtrian street food that she made at home. The actress first teased her fans by sharing a picture of an empty plate on her Instagram Stories with the question, “What’s cooking?” In the next slide, she revealed a tempting plate of pav bhaji.
